Around Neopets you can find codestones. You can find them on the floor, buy them from the shop wizard, get them from tombola or in very lucky situations, get them from Coltzans Shrine.

If you go to the Mystery Island Training School and train your pet to get your level up. Once your pet reaches level 250, you have to use the red codestones. To get the red codestones go to Techo Mountain and you can swap all 10 regular codestones for 1 red codestone.
